(CNN) A Florida sheriff and a man killed in a shooting rampage this weekend pleaded guilty Tuesday to shooting and killing a teenage girl, prosecutors said .

William County Sheriff Wayne Ivey and James R. Moore Jr., 27, admitted to one charge — felony manslaughter. The victims, both 17-year-old girls, died of gunshots, according to the Orange-Osceola state attorney’s office.

The victims were shot with automatic weapons, sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Debbie Carter said.

Ivey has also admitted to shooting at two people he had previously met in Florida, Carter said.

The men were members of the Seminole County Narcotics unit, authorities said. Prosecutors said Ivey was not arrested during the shooting spree, but the victims had been interviewed and their names were entered into an FBI database.

Raleigh Moore, 17, was shot and killed in her bedroom on Sunday in the woods north of Orlando. One person was wounded, said Orange-Osceola County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Ashley Strong.

Ivey’s wife called her from outside her home Tuesday morning, CNN affiliate WFTV reported, describing the shooting in her native tongue.

“She said ‘he has a big bruise,’ ” the mother told WFTV. “I said, ‘He has a huge bruise?’ She said, ‘Yeah.'”

Ivey also is alleged to have shot to death a man.
