If I was to turn into a dog walker by the age of 15, yes, I do make a living. But I don’t work a nine to five like most people, I don’t have a family, and I do my homework and have friends, and then I do what people do, which is make a living. Because we were born that way, we’re not going to stop being dogs. And if I do my homework and I’m making a living, then I’m going to be happy, I’m going to be happy, and I’m going to do it with my friends instead of some other person who’s not so happy.
What were some of your favorite things to do as a child?
I was very good at sports. I was a pretty good runner, and I did a lot of gymnastics and did the stuff that a lot of kids do now, just like a little bit more than most kids do. And I also loved music and theater. I loved dancing.
Do you get nervous when you look in the mirror and realize that you’ve achieved your dreams, like you’re a real dog?
No, I don’t. They didn’t come to me. Not until after I had children.
Where are you today in your career as a dog walker?
My career. I’m still in my early 30s.
Do you have any plans in your future as a dog walker?
I have several other jobs, and I can take care of my kids and have a nice place to live. But the main reason I’m doing this right now is that I’m really happy. I’m doing it for the love. And I want other people to be able to feel that way too.
Are you still interested in becoming a trainer like you used to be, or would you rather take care of your dogs yourself and get a good training degree?
If the dog walker career is going to work so well for me, I’d like to be in the dog industry. I hope that someday we’ll have a system where people can become trainers on their own. But I don’t think we’re there yet. Dog walking is really an individual thing, where the person decides what they want to do with their life. Because everyone is different, and I know that dogs are different than people, as well, so there’s no one way to do it. But I would definitely love to be a dog
