“I have a beautiful son and I love my family and would not wish this on my worst enemy,” the mother of the boy’s mother wrote on behalf of her son. “There are times in this world, I think, when you make the decision to love your family and to love yourself.”
The woman cited as that source on the social networking site said the boy had been in “extortion” for two months. She said that it had been difficult for the boy, who had received numerous death threats, to go outside after school because one side of his body was black and the other light. She said that he had a seizure during his senior year at school and that she was unable to get him immediate medical attention.
“He was on the school bus trying to do his homework alone when he was attacked,” she said.
For the most part, people who have heard of the case — the woman said the boy’s father was unaware — seemed to view the incident as a bizarre story. The social media community on Twitter has reacted with disbelief, and many questioned whether the girl’s claim that the child was having a seizure in her womb was the real story, whether her claims were credible.
