How about hydrogen peroxide on the lips? That’s where an artist in Canada has found an unlikely solution: hydrogen peroxide on the skin. While the reaction with the skin of someone wearing a tattoo could be an unpleasant experience, at least it’s not the same as if you were in contact with bleach. (The solution is a yellow-green solution that lasts at least three hours without degrading.)
A Canadian artist, Matt Gaffey, created the solution and plans to sell it for $9.95 on his “Tattoo Solution for your Face” website. As of this weekend, Gaffey says his idea has sold over 400 units from 300 orders.
The artist notes that the solution was created by a chemist he knows and has worked with before, but that he doesn’t have access to a lab. In the comments section of the website, users tell him that he should work with a chemist instead because it can be more efficient and accurate.
This is not the first time that an artist has used hydrogen peroxide for tattoo restoration. In June, artist Mark Leithart used the chemical for his own tattoos to make them more realistic.
TAMPA, Fla. — There are at least 10 people inside a Tampa-area church who are under investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for a alleged series of bomb threats made Tuesday.
Hillsborough Sheriff Bob Gualtieri says the calls — made throughout Hillsborough County over nine hours — were made against Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and Seminole County sheriff’s offices. Investigators have not released the names of the defendants, but they are identified as Eric and Karen Johnson.
Tampa police have also taken action against a man arrested earlier in the day who is accused of making bomb threats against an Orlando-area school. He’s also being investigated by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, sheriff’s officials say.
